Looking forward to the art show and poetry open mic at Fortuitea Cafe, 7 p.m., this coming Saturday, Nov. 9.
The cafe is located at 1145 Washington Road, Washington, Pennsylvania (behind the Shoppes at Quail Acres). If you live in or near Washington, Pa., or happen to be in the area, we'd love for you to join us!
Thanks/appreciation to Ashton EB Cutright for inviting me and for putting this show together, along with all the artists/poets participating, as well as the fine folks at Fortuitea Cafe.
Ashton is a multifaceted artist doing amazing work as a digital artist, illustrator, graphic and web designer. I enjoyed meeting Ashton at the recent Indie Lit Festival and was impressed by her enthusiasm and professionalism.
Be sure to like the Ashton EB Cutright Facebook artist page and check out her website, http://www.ashtoncutright.com.
Feel free to copy and share the flier (see pic). Also please join and share the event's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/events/749151668435548/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming.
On Saturday, I'll be sharing a few brief excerpts from "Lifeline," the first book in my dystopian "STARLING Series" about four teen hackers fighting for freedom in 2045, along with a couple of poems, time permitting.
A limited number of only 20 special hard copies of the very first indie print run of "Lifeline" will be available, which I'll be happy to sign, making a nice holiday read and/or gift.
(Note: The digital version of "Lifeline" is currently available on Amazon for only 99 cents. If you can't make it to the Washington, Pa. reading and want a hard copy of "Lifeline," then get in touch with me via email, twebb4502@gmail.com.)
As an indie publisher who has focused on community poetry the last several years, I'm on a pay-as-I-go budget. My goal is to publish an indie hard copy version of the entire series (all four books) but I need your help to do so. Each sale of the hard copy of "Lifeline" will go toward publishing a hard copy version of the entire series.
To that end, I'll be more than happy to give a discount on hard copies of the entire series when it becomes available to any fan who buys "Lifeline" this year. Thanks in advance for helping me to make a paper version of the entire series possible soon. I consider my "STARLINGS," my readers, fans and enthusiasts both as family and as active participants. You, the reader, are the person who makes the series possible. Thank you so much for reading. I'll be getting you new interesting stories as soon as I can.
Thanks again to everyone in our region who enjoys/supports art and literature.
Share this post, and we hope to see you at this Saturday's reading.
