PROPHECY
by Theodore Webb

Don’t become your own self-fulfilling prophecy

You are the beloved, foremost

You’re connected to others

It’s true sometimes they don’t see you

Remember, you’re not seeing them

The blind should not accuse the blind of darkness

—or silence

We’re born—and reborn

—to fight

for what is Real

Truth lives forever,

building bridges with blood-soaked nails

In spite of fear, there’s Love

In spite of "death," there’s Hope

What else?

The Great Spirit is a butterfly at the river’s edge

On a never-ending journey to the other side
