I continue to be astounded by the extent to which so many folks seem to put so much faith into the "system."
But is such unbridled faith warranted? Do they put their faith into the system on a truly rational, or deserved, basis? Or do they put their faith into the system simply because they believe-perceive that the system happens to be working for them personally? If one believes one is doing well in the current system, then one has little incentive to question it, and every incentive to look the other way when the system works against others.
But if the system is not working for everyone equally in Reality, is it in Reality working for anyone? Does such a "system" truly deserve anyone's faith? Or should we instead regard our systems-constructs with the strength-courage of skeptical eyes?
No matter where we are, wouldn't we be better off putting our faith NOT into "systems," but into asking the hardest questions, particularly questions about our ourselves?
