As a thank you to everybody who has been supportive of "The STARLING Series," I'm doing a two-day free holiday download of the first book in the series, "Lifeline," Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25-Wednesday, Dec. 26.
If you've already downloaded the book, then help me get the word out about this free download so we can share "Lifeline" with more folks, teens in particular, who might be interested. Even if you've already read the first book, please share this post as a link on your Facebook page and Twitter. If you liked "Lifeline," this is a great opportunity to share it with your friends and let them know about this free gift to celebrate the season of giving and sharing.

One of my goals with "The STARLING Series" is to get it into the hands of teens who may be dealing with issues concerning the problem of bullying ("Lifeline" is an anti-bullying book about friendship that is intended to share some hope, as in: Yes, it can get better!)
To better explain why I wrote "The STARLING Series," let me offer this excerpt which appears at the beginning of "Lifeline":

"With love, I dedicate 'The STARLING Series' to all people. As others have said: We are all loved equally within the Heart of THE GREAT SPIRIT. Love, the greatest and infinite, LOVE, surrounds us, is within us and can flow through us like oceans of life. Love is greater than fear. This book is dedicated to all those who have been ignored, cast out, ostracized, harassed or beaten."

So if you know a teen who might like to read "Lifeline," then by all means, let that teenager know where he/she can get this book for free. Again, here is the link for "Lifeline." You'll notice "Lifeline" is currently only $2.99, but for two days only, Dec. 25-26, you will see $0.00 on the price, and will be able to download it for free. Again, this is the best time for teenagers to get a copy. I did my best to write "The STARLING Series" to be enjoyed by people ages 15 and up. (Note: This is also a great book for college students, educators, people studying technological/social issues and others...)

And no one need own a Kindle e-reader to enjoy "Lifeline." A teenager who has any computer or even a smartphone can download the free Kindle app (for PC or MAC) here at http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771. There are free Kindle apps for a number of different devices. "Lifeline" will make a fun, FREE download Dec. 25-26 for a teenager getting his/her first laptop, desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc. for Christmas.

Another way I hope to get the book into the hands of teens is to do a paper version of "The STARLING Series." Being an indie author, I have to be able to cover the printing costs of a paper version of the books while still covering my rent, groceries, etc. So if you've enjoyed "Lifeline" and would like to get/see a paper version, then by all means, help make it happen by purchasing the other books in the series (each book is less than a bag of chips, DVD or a latte):
