Thanks to the nearly 200 folks who downloaded the first book in my "STARLING Series" during my week long December holiday-promo freebie (my very special thank you to folks who've bought paper copies and/or expressed an interest in my work.)

I hope those of you who are enjoying your free copy of "Lifeline" will take a moment to share what you think by writing a brief review on "Lifeline's" Amazon page.

Every review helps this "indie author" get the word out, while also helping everyone, including myself, learn something new/understand more about the series.

If you're enjoying "Lifeline," I'm confident you'll also enjoy the next book in this Dystopian fiction series set in 2045: "Crucible."

"Crucible" will take you much further into the story of teenage "hackers" Simon Laramie, Jaya Ceyes, Flower Wildwind & Peter Arnold.

"Rocking the boat" is not for the faint of heart. In "Crucible," Simon learns it's one thing to talk about a "revolution," but a whole other thing to carry out a revolution. Find out who puts a life on the line for human rights and privacy, and who does not, in "Crucible."

In "Crucible," we are also introduced to Briarwood Public High School's principal, Dr. Pericles Pilotti, who plays a pivotal role in the final books, "Colossus" and "Inferno." Ideas collide as STARLING breaks Patriot Security's iron curtain controlling SUPERNET.

Is there any room at all in the extremely powerful technological global system of total surveillance in 2045 for young individuals like Simon, Jaya, Flower and Pete?

Is there any opportunity whatsoever in the near future for youth to fully express their hopes and dreams, for individuals to own their own information, their own work, time, ideas and energy, and their own lives?

Find out in my in-depth study of current technological advances/trajectories in the near future._

Just like "Lifeline," "Crucible," the sequel to "Lifeline," (Kindle version) is less than a cup of coffee on Amazon.

And don't forget, you can read the Kindle version on any device, including MAC, PC, tablet, smartphone, Android, etc., via the FREE Kindle reading apps, available here.

If you want to get the entire "STARLING Series," all four books, "Lifeline," "Crucible," "Colossus" and "Inferno," in one volume, you can get it all in one shot as "The STARLING Connection." (Note: The Kindle version of the entire series to date is less than two cups of coffee :-)
