My newest book, "Poems for Poets," is now available as a special, custom, hand-bound art-book through Passive Terrain Press, a new, exciting, creative specialty publisher based here in Morgantown, West Virginia.
"Poems for Poets" features eight poems and a dramatic monologue.
The book follows the arc of a poet's life, from beginning, the discovery of poetry, "Poetry, I Found You: Naked," to end, with the dramatic monologue, "Death of a Poet" (title styled after the Arthur Miller play "Death of a Salesman.")
In between, are some of my better-known poems which have been read in Eugene, Oregon, Fayetteville, N.C. and at Morgantown Poets, such as the comedic, tongue-in-cheek, "Coffeehouse Barbecue." There's also "Five Seconds After Midnight," which is dedicated to Tamara Woods & Morgantown poets' friends.
To get a taste of the poetry, check out video below/on YouTube where I share one of the book's poems, "Niagara: One Teardrop."
"Poems for Poets" can be custom ordered here on the Passive Terrain website or on Passive Terrain's Etsy shop.
My thanks to multifaceted artist, designer and fellow poet/authorAshton EB Cutright for creating Passive Terrain Press.
