Hysteria: A Collection of Madness by STEPHANIE M. WYTOVICH

Asylums once used to confine those deemed mentally unfit linger, forgotten behind trees or urban development, beautiful yet desolate in their decay. Within them festers something far more unnerving than unlit corners or unexplained noises: the case files left to moulder out of sight, out of conscience.

Stephanie M. Wytovich forces your hands upon these crumbling, warped binders and exposes your mind to every taboo misfortune experienced by the outcast, exiled, misbegotten monsters and victims who have walked among us.

The poetry contained in Hysteria performs internal body modification on its readers in an unrelenting fashion, employing broad-spectrum brutality treatment that spans the physical to the societal, as noted in Stoker Award winner Michael A. Arnzen's incisive introduction.

To celebrate the cover reveal for Greenshift, the e-book will be temporarily 99 cents at Amazon!

A tale set within the world of Ambasadora.
Mari's rare eye color makes her a pariah within Upper Caste society, which is why she prefers plants to people...except David, the former Armadan captain who shuttles scientists around on a refurbished pleasure cruiser.
But someone else is interested in Mari and her distinctive look--an obsessed psychopath who tortures and murders women for pleasure.
When the killer chooses Mari as his next victim, the soldier inside David comes alive, but it is Mari who must fight for her own life and prove she isn't as fragile as the flowers she nurtures.

Sci-fi author Wayne Basta plans to release his latest book, "Aristeia: Tree of Liberty,” the third in his “Aristeia Series,” this summer.

To get the word out about the book, Mr. Basta is conducting a “Tree of Liberty Contest and Giveaway” this month.

The story/premise of his “Aristeia Series” is interesting and timely (check out each book’s description at http://www.waynebasta.com.)

Book 1 in the series, “Revolutionary Right,” describes a planetary Alliance that has put security above freedom and democracy. The main character is a smuggler named Maarkean who must confront the corruption in the system.

The second book, titled “A Little Rebellion,” follows the smuggler’s sister, Saracasi Ocaitchi, and the rebellion against the Alliance.

The books explore loyalty, resistance and friendship. (For more information, check out the reviews for the first two books that are on Amazon.com.)

The themes of these books are near and dear to my heart. I also like the clever titles of these books, particularly the forthcoming book’s title, “Tree of Liberty.” I’ve long been interested in both liberty and the tree of life concept. “Tree of Liberty” is an excellent blend of both ideas.

Here are a few details Mr. Basta recently shared on his website about "Tree of Liberty's" release:

“The ebook will be released on June 15th and the print books won’t be available until July 1st.”
The sci-fi author also mentions a discount for pre-orders and says the contest and giveaway will take place the entire month of June.

Mr. Basta has an impressive list of prizes for lucky winners, including both hardback and paperback copies of the “Aristeia Series,” Aristeia T-shirt, Rogue unit patch, rank pins, etc., as well as e-books from two of my favorite authors, Jason Jack Miller and Heidi Ruby Miller.

Be sure to check out the full contest details (including how you can win prizes) here at this link on the website of Wayne Basta:http://waynebasta.com/2013/06/tree-of-liberty-contest-and-giveaway/

Check this out!

Author Jason Jack Miller and the folks at publisher Raw Dog Screaming Press are doing an interesting promotion: a COVER REVEAL of Mr. Miller's next book, "REVELATIONS OF PRESTON BLACK," the second novel in his "Preston Black" series.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series about a struggling musician trying to find his father, the first book being titled, "The Devil and Preston Black." (Note: To get a sense of what this series is about, feel free to read my review, "The Devil and Preston Black spellbinding mystical musical revelation," dated 1/08/2013, here in my REVIEWS section of theodorewebb.com.)

Without further adieu, here's the revealed cover and more information about the forthcoming "REVELATIONS OF PRESTON BLACK."

THE REVELATIONS OF PRESTON BLACK BY JASON JACK MILLER

Coming June 2013 from Raw Dog Screaming Press

Cover Art by Brad Vetter

Preston and Katy face a new darkness....
Sometimes a battle between good and evil doesn't look much like the ones they show in movies. The good guys don't always wear white, and they don’t always walk away with the win.
And sometimes you're better off with the devil you know.
The last time Preston went down to the crossroads, his best friend died and he nearly lost his brother. But Old Scratch doesn't take kindly to fools, especially not those who come knocking at his front door. And before all is said and done, he's going to teach Preston a thing or two about what it really means to sacrifice.
