Sci-fi author Wayne Basta plans to release his latest book, "Aristeia: Tree of Liberty,” the third in his “Aristeia Series,” this summer.
To get the word out about the book, Mr. Basta is conducting a “Tree of Liberty Contest and Giveaway” this month.
The story/premise of his “Aristeia Series” is interesting and timely (check out each book’s description at http://www.waynebasta.com.)
Book 1 in the series, “Revolutionary Right,” describes a planetary Alliance that has put security above freedom and democracy. The main character is a smuggler named Maarkean who must confront the corruption in the system.
The second book, titled “A Little Rebellion,” follows the smuggler’s sister, Saracasi Ocaitchi, and the rebellion against the Alliance.
The books explore loyalty, resistance and friendship. (For more information, check out the reviews for the first two books that are on Amazon.com.)
The themes of these books are near and dear to my heart. I also like the clever titles of these books, particularly the forthcoming book’s title, “Tree of Liberty.” I’ve long been interested in both liberty and the tree of life concept. “Tree of Liberty” is an excellent blend of both ideas.
Here are a few details Mr. Basta recently shared on his website about "Tree of Liberty's" release:
